WEST HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut volleyball fell to the University of New Haven, 3-0 in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup on Friday night. Southern dropped to an overall record of 11-16 and an NE10 record of 1-8. New Haven improved to an overall record of 18-8 and an NE10 record of 8-1.
Sara Enright led the team with six kills, as
Carissa Michel followed closely behind with five kills of her own.
Kendall Webber and
Victoria Pascual both had four kills each against the Chargers.
Aubrey Villena had a team-best of 14 digs, while
Ahunna James recorded six digs and Enright added five digs to the team's total.
Lily Miller had 21 assists, a service ace and a block against New Haven.
Volleyball makes the short trip to the University of Bridgeport on Saturday, Nov. 4 for a non-conference tri-match against Goldey-Beacom College at 3:00 p.m. and against the University of Bridgeport at 5:00 p.m.
