SCSU Men's Swimming And Diving Win First Conference Meet Vs. Pace, 128-102

SCSU Men's Swimming and Diving took down Pace University in their first conference meet of the year 128-102, bringing their overall record to 3-4 on the year with a conference record of 1-0.
 
 
200 Yard Medley Relay
 
The Owls relay team of Adam Fred, Travis Scott, Jacob Tanner, and Jack Fry placed second in the 200 Medley with a final time of 1:42.57.
 
1000 Yard Freestyle
 
The Owls swept the top three in the 1000 yard free with Dylan Prescher placing first (10:17.00), Aiden Kennedy in second (10:39.00), and Nicholas Zerva in third (11:01.00).
 
200 Yard Freestyle
 
Franklin Kuhn took the win in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:47.11 followed by freshman Lucas Quiroga in second place (1:50.75).
 
50 Yard Freestyle
 
Jack Fry placed first in the 50-yard free with a time of 22.69. Travis Scott finished with a final time of 22.98 placing him in second.
 
200 Yard IM
 
Drew Ladner was the lone Owl in the top three, winning the event with a time of 2:02.73.
 
200 Yard Butterfly
 
The Owls dominated the 300-yard fly with Lucas Quiroga placing first (1:59.81), Mike Aiello in second (2:00.38), Drew Ladner in third (2:05.80), and Zach Krantz in fourth (2:08.22).
 
100 Yard Freestyle
 
Franklin Kuhn and Kobe Dominguez finished one and two in the 100-yard free with Kuhn placing a time of 48.12 and Dominguez finishing with a time of 50.61.
 
500 Yard Freestyle
 
Dylan Prescher placed first in the 500-yard free (5:00.33), followed by Aiden Kennedy in second (5:09.86), Nicholas Zerva in third (5:17.81), and Jacob Tanner in fourth (5:18.46).
 
1 Mtr Diving
 
Jayson Main scored a 148.50 on the 1 Mtr dive. Jonathan Tressel also participated in the event finishing with a score of 134.40.
 
3 mtr Diving
 
Jayson Main led the Owls in scoring in the 3 mtr dive with a score of 190.42 with teammate Jonathan Tressel posting a score of 188.77.
 
 
The Owls will be back in action at The Hutch on January 12th against Bentley University at 1 pm in New Haven, CT.
