Southern Connecticut women's basketball will travel to Springfield, Mass. to take on American International College in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the Henry A. Butova Gymnasium. The Owls enter the game with a record of 16-8 overall and 11-7 in the NE10, while AIC is 14-12 overall and 10-8 in Northeast 10 Conference play.

The Owls' Last Time Out
Southern Connecticut graduate transfer Isabella Santoro (Durham, Conn.) scored a career-best 24 points as the Owls cruised to a 62-40 Northeast 10 Conference win against Franklin Pierce at James Moore Field House. The Owls, winners of six of their last seven games, stand at 11-7 in NE10 play and 16-8 overall. Santoro shot a blistering 9-of-10 from the floor, including 4-of-5 from three-point range. She also finished with eight rebounds and three assists, as well as two steals, in the Owls' win. Katie Williamson (Dublin, Ireland) came a rebound short of a double-double, finishing with 13 points and nine rebounds, as well as three assists. Delaney Connors (West Hartford, Conn.) had seven points and seven rebounds with five assists.

Scouting The Owls

• Southern is coming off an 62-40 win against Franklin Pierce in New Haven, Conn.
• The last time Southern faced AIC was during the current 2022-23 season where the Owls beat AIC, 58-46, on Dec. 31, 2022.
• Isabella Santoro scored 24 points against Franklin Pierce. She averages 11.3 points and 5.6 rebounds.
• Katie Williamson leads the Owls in rebounds with 7.1. She records 11.9 points.
• Delaney Connors averages 8.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
• Zoe Amalbert (Nanuet, N.Y.) records 13.5 points per game to lead the team, and also posts a team-best in assists with 4.9.
• Renza Milner (Carlsbad, Calif.) notches 4.8 rebounds.
