Northeast 10 Conference Championship tournament No. 5 seeded Southern Connecticut will travel to No. 4 New Haven for a NE10 Championship Quarterfinals matchup at Charger Gymnasium in West Haven, Conn. on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m.

The Owls' Last Timeout
Southern defeated NE10 seeded No. 12 Saint Rose, 85-71, in the First Round of the NE10 Championship on Friday, Feb. 21. Logan Bagshaw led the Owls with a season-high 18 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the outside while Marty Silvera totaled 14 points and nine assists. Zack Penn recorded third-straight double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. It was also Penn's sixth double-double in his last seven games.
 
The Owls In The NE10 Tournament
  • With its win against Adelphi, Southern improved to is 7-11 all-time in the NE10 Tournament.
  • The Owls have advanced to two Semifinals and one championship game, which they won in 2013-14.
  • This is the first meeting between Southern Connecticut and Saint Rose in the NE10 Tournament.

  • Southern completed the regular season with an overall record of 17-11.
  • Southern went 3-2 in its last five games of the regular season.
  • Southern Connecticut led the NE10 in offensive rebounds per game (12.61) and steals per game (8.3) while ranking second in blocks per game (4.0).
  • Southern's Marty Silvera led the country in steals (76) and ranks second in steals per game (2.71) while also leading the conference in assists (153) and assists per game (5.5).
  • Silvera's 76 steals this season ranks second in SCSU history and trails Tim Greene's 80 takeaways in 1996-97.
