Roy was hit by a pitch before Lange doubled to put runners on second and third. After Dumont walked, Roy scored on a wild pitch and Miller reached on an error. After Festa lined out, Nadia Cestari reached on an error with Faith Barbieri, who came in to run for Dumont, scored. Miller stole home on a throw down to second base and DeLutri walked. Barressi followed with a double to score Cestari and DeLutri as the Owls trailed by two runs, but a late run by Franklin Pierce gave them the 10-7 win.

In the second game, Miller was 2-for-3 with a run scored while Paige Delier was 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored. Dominique DeLutri was 1-for-2 with a double while Barresi drove in two runs in the nightcap.

With Franklin Pierce building a 15-1 run, Southern got two runs back in the fourth inning. Delier singled with two outs and moved to third on a double by DeLutri that also banged off the top of the wall. Barresi then drove in both runs with a single to cap the Owls' scoring for the day.
