MANSFIELD, Mass.
– Southern Connecticut State volleyball's freshman,
Kendall Webber (St. Petersburg, Fla.) was named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week for Week 2, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Sept. 11.
Webber had a combined total of 11 kills and five blocks against Dominican University and Sant Anselm's College. The middle blocker recorded nine kills and four blocks against the University of Bridgeport, and had five kills and a team-best of five blocks against Post University. She averaged 1.92 kills and 1.08 blocks per set, while racking up 33 points in a 3-1 week for the Owls.
Volleyball will be on the road Tuesday, Sept. 12 against Mercy University at 7:00 pm in Dobbs Ferry, NY. The Owls return to Pelz Gym on Friday, Sept. 15 against Post University at 3:00 pm and against Assumption University at 7:00 pm.
