Southern Connecticut State University volleyball fell to Southern New Hampshire University and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania on Sunday at the SNHU Tournament. The Owls fought hard to make a comeback in both matches but were overpowered by the Penmen and Fighting Scots.

Sara Enright led the team with 18 kills, 15 digs and two aces in two matches. Against Edinboro, she totaled 10 kills and 10 digs with a total of 10.5 points.

Carissa Michel had a career high of 10 kills, 11 digs, one ace and a block against Edinboro. Â

Kacey Deecher was also a team leader with 9 kills and six digs against Edinboro.

Southern returns to the court on Friday, September 8th at Pelz Gymnasium, where they will play Dominincan University at 3:00 pm and Saint Anselm College at 7:00 pm.
