SCSU Men's Basketball Fall To SNHU, 84-71

Box Score After picking up a huge road win against University of New Haven earlier in the week the Owls dropped an away game to the SNHU Penmen 84-71. This loss brings the Owls overall record to 11-4 with a conference record of 5-4 on the year.

The Owls jumped out to a quick lead against the Penmen and shot 60% behind the arch in the first half. The Penmen however were able to keep it close and would gain the lead with about six minutes in the first half. The Owls posted five more turnovers than the Penmen and struggled getting it going in the second half only shooting 32% from the field.SNHU would maintain the lead for the rest of the game, finishing with the 13 point victory. 

Despite the loss Josh McGettigan still finished as the Owls leading scorer with 17 points and 4 rebounds. Sean James would finish second in the points column with 15 points with Cherif Diarra still leading the team on the glass, finishing with nine rebounds.

The Owls will look to bounce back at home on Tuesday, January 16th at 730 PM vs Bentley University in New Haven, CT.
