MANSFIELD, Mass.-Southern Connecticut men's soccer senior Jacob Rose has been named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week for Week 6, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Oct. 14. 

Despite a 1-0 loss and tie the week, Rose was a key component of the Owls defense playing every minute in both games to hold the top two teams in the East Region to low scoring games. 

The Owls are back on Tuesday, Oct. 15 as they travel to New Haven in a non-conference matchup.
