MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut men's soccer sophomore Solomon Aidoo has been named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week for Week 8, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Oct. 28. 

Aidoo has been a key piece of the Owls defense all season - he's been consistent and flexible, moving from the midfield to defense when needed. With the key stops and plays that he makes, the Owls were able to go 1-0-1 this week. 

The Owls will host Molloy for a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
