MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut men's soccer student-athletes Edward Mensah and Kasper Murzinski have been tabbed with Northeast-10 Weekly Honors as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Nov. 4. Mensah is named Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
First-year Murzinski has been named the Rookie of the Week - this is the first honor of his career. 

Mensah has been a force all season and helped lead the Owls to a win in the final game of the regular season against AIC, 2-1. Mensah had the equalizing goal and also helped the backline to allow only two shots on goal. 

Murzinski has been consistent for the Owls all season - as a first-year, he has the most minutes this season. 

The Owls will await seeding for the Northeast-10 Men's Soccer Championship which is set to start on Saturday, Nov. 9.
