NEW HAVEN, CONN. – Southern Connecticut women's basketball will partner with New Haven Ronald McDonald House for a Holiday Toy and Supply Drive during their Saturday, Dec. 7 matchup against Bentley University in the James Moore Field House at 1:30 pm. Donation boxes will be present in the lobby of the Moore Field House during the game. The New Haven Ronald McDonald House provided a list of needs for the holiday season:
Toys (New and Unwrapped)
For Infants and Toddlers:
- Board books and picture books
- Activity toys, teething rings, mobiles, rattles
- Sensory toys, Duplo's, blocks
- Bath toys
For Youth (Ages 12-21):
- Toiletry sets appropriate for all genders
- T-Shirts/Sweatshirts/Hats – various sizes 9Old Navy, Adidas, sports teams, etc.)
- Arts and Crafts
- Board Games/Card Games
- Gift Cards (Coffee, groceries, restaurants, gas)
Household Supplies:
- Laundry detergent (allergy-free)
- Toilet paper
- Coffee cups with lids (16 oz.)
- Coffee creamers (non-refrigerated)
- Sugar packets
- K cups (any flavor)
- Clorox toilet bowl cleaner
- Individually packaged snacks (chips, crackers, cookies, granola bars, cereal)
- Lysol disinfectant spray
- Aluminum foil
- Dish soap/Hand soap
- Paper goods (paper towels, plates)
