SCSU Men's Swimming & Diving Defeats CSI, 135-99

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Southern Connecticut State University women's swimming & diving defeated College of Staten Island, 135-99, in Staten Island, N.Y.

200 Yard Medley Relay
Southern Connecticut "A" team of Adam Fred, Kobe Dominguez, Henry Velazquez and Drew Ladner finished second in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:39.11.

1000 Yard Freestyle
Samir Souidi won the 1000 Free with a time of 10:25.71 followed by Nick Zerva in second at 10:58.56.

200 Yard Freestyle
Jack Fry finished second in the 200 Free with a time of 1:49.36 while Ben Frazer was fourth at 1:50.43.

50 Yard Freestyle
Drew Ladner won the 50 Free with a time of 21.98 followed by McAllistar Milne in second at 22.12. Velazquez was third at 23.32 followed by Travis Scott in fourth at 23.36.

200 Yard Individual Medley
Dominguez finished third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.08 while Vincent Roney was fourth at 2:07.83. Zach Krantz finished fifth at 2:19.15.

1 Meter Diving
JT Tressel won the 1 Meter Diving event with a score of 244.00 followed by Elliott Speckhard in second at 235.95.

100 Yard Butterfly
Jacob Tanner finished second in the 100 Fly with a time of 52.48 followed by Adam Fred in third at 53.03 and Kris Janney in fourth at 54.47.

100 Yard Freestyle
Milne won the 100 Free, by almost three seconds, with a time of 48.80. Aiden Kennedy was second at 51.41 while Travis Scot was third at 52.41.

100 Yard Backstroke
Ladner was second in the 100 Back with a time of 55.92 followed by Roney in third at 56.09.

500 Yard Freestyle
Velazquez won the 500 Free with a time of 4:57.47 while James Custer was third at 5:10.75.

3 Meter Diving
JT Tressel followed his win in the 1 Meter with a win in the 3 Meter with a score of 239.90. Speckhard also finished second with a score of 236.55.

100 Yard Breaststroke
Dominguez won the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 59.78 followed by Milne at 1:00.26.

200 Yard Freestyle Relay
Swimming exhibition, the Owls' 200 Free Relay "A" team of Fry, Ben Frazer, Scott and Fred posted a time of 1:28.89.

The Owls will not enjoy the Winter Break and return to action on Saturday, Jan. 11 when they travel to Assumption for a meet set for a 1 p.m. start. After a meet at Bentley on Sunday, Jan. 19, the Owls return home for Senior Day when it hosts Saint Michael's on Saturday, Jan. 25 for its final regular-season competition of the season before coming at the NE10 Championships on Feb. 13-16.
