SCSU Men's Indoor Track & Field Competes At UMass Flagship Invitational

Southern Connecticut men's track and field saw several strong performances at the 2025 UMass-Amherst Flagship Indoor Invitational.

Osaretin Osagie posted a pair of top-five finishes while Sam Sandler won the 500 Dash.

60 Hurdles
Osaretin Osagie finished third overall line in the 60 Hurdles with a time of 8.24.

1 Mile
Nathanael Huebner finished 14^th out of 29 in the 1 Mile run with a time of 4:23.93. Francis Porrini finished in 4:32.73 followed by Evan McNeice at 4:32.89.

400 Dash
Osagie finished fifth in the 400 Yard Dash with a career-best time of 49.66, beating his previous best of 49.87 at the 2023 NE10 Indoor Championships.

500 Dash
Sam Sandler won the 500 Yard Dash with a first-place finish at 1:03.93. Sandler placed ahead of runners from UMass and Providence, followed by Jack Mulcunry in fifth place at 1:04.97.

3000 Dash
John Glidden led the Owls in the 3000 Dash with a fourth-place finish, out of 19 runners, at 8:32.30. Luca Cazzaniga was ninth at 8:48.86 while Joseph Lamburn finished 13^th at 9:04.18.

Field Events
Pole Vault
Mateo Viviano was the Owls top finisher with a tie of fifth place with a career-best 4:55m (14'11"). Peyton Adams posted a mark of 4.10m (13'5.25").
