Southern Connecticut Men's Indoor Track & Field Kicks Off Season at Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener and Yale Season Opener

Southern Connecticut men's indoor track & field kicked off the 2025-26 season, competing at Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener and the Yale Season Opener.

At the Yale Season Opener, 2025 All-American Lawrence Hicks took home first in the High Jump while Sean Horrigan won the pole vault in his first meet as an Owl. Southern also saw podium performances from Gabe Toppin (Shot Put), Peyton Adams (Pole Vault), Holden Speed (Long Jump), and Joal Barros (High Jump). At BU, Osaretin Osagie led the way, finishing in third place in the 400m Dash. Sam Sandler and Matt Kilmer both placed fifth in the 300m and 400m respectively. Across the two meets, the Owls recorded 15 top-5 finishes.
