WALTHAM, Mass. - Southern Connecticut men's swimming and diving was defeated by Bentley, 140 to 148. The meet is highlighted by McAllistar Milne who now holds the meet record in the 200 Yard Butterfly and 200 Yard Individual Medley and also had a pair of first place finishes, Drew Ladner who now holds the meet record in 100 Yard Freestyle and had a pair of first place finishes, and Franklin Kuhn who now holds the meet record in the 50 Yard Freestyle.
400 Yard Medley Relay
The Owls 400 Yard Medley Relay "A" team consisting of Adam Fred, Kobe Dominguez, McAllistar Milne, and Franklin Kuhn came in second place finishing with a time of 1:36.19 which is the second-best time in meet history.
1000 Yard Freestyle
In the 1000 Free, Aiden Kennedy was the top finisher for the Owls coming in third with a time of 10:30.88. Samir Souidi came in fourth with a time of 10:36.67, and James Custer finished in fifth at 10:37.92.
200 Yard Freestyle
Drew Ladner won the 200 Free with a time of 1:45.72. Jack Fry came in third with a time of 1:47.47 and Richie Hall finished fourth with a time of 1:49.70.
100 Yard Backstroke
Adam Fred came in fourth in the 100 Back with a time of 55.27 and Austin Roney came in fifth with a time of 56.37.
100 Yard Breaststroke
In the 100 Breast, Kobe Dominguez came in second with a time of 59.42 - he was .01 away from tying the Bentley swimmer. Ben Frazer came in fourth with a time of 1:02.77 and Zachary Krantz finished fifth with a time of 1:04.28.
200 Yard Butterfly
McAllistar Milne won the 200 Fly with a time of 1:55. 20 – he now holds the meet record in this event. Henry Velazquez came in third with a time of 1:59.20 and Lucas Quiroga came in fourth with a time of 2:00.93.
50 Yard Freestyle
Franklin Kuhn won the 50 Free with a time of 21.65 - this time gives him the meet record which he held already from last season. Ben Frazer came in third place, finishing with a time of 22.24.
1 Meter Diving
JT Tressel won the 1 Meter diving with a score of 249.90.
100 Yard Freestyle
Ladner won the 100 Free with a time of 47.21 - he breaks his own meet record from last season and continues to be the meet record holder. Kuhn came in third with a time of 48.81 and Fry finished fourth at 49.52.
200 Yard Backstroke
Roney came in fifth place in the 200 Back with a time of 2:05.10 and Fred came in sixth with a time of 2:06.37.
200 Yard Breaststroke
In the 200 Breast, Dominguez came in second with a time of 2:13.87 which is the second best in meet history. Krantz came in third at 2:22.40.
500 Yard Freestyle
Milne came in second in the 500 Free with a time of 4:53.00. Quiroga finished fourth with a time of 4:55.09 and Hall finished with a time of 5:02.31.
100 Yard Butterfly
Ladner came in second in the 100 Fly with a time of 52.95 and holds the second-best time in meet history. Velazquez came in fourth with a time of 53.98.
3 Meter Diving
With a win in the 3 Meter and scoring 420.90, Tressel swept the diving competition.
200 Yard Individual Medley
Milne and Dominguez were first and second in the 200 IM. Milne finished with a time of 1:58.91 which is now the meet record. Dominguez finished at 2:01.22 and Kris Janney came in fifth with a time of 2:05.52.
400 Yard Freestyle Relay
The Owls 400 Free Relay team consisting of Frazer, Kuhn, Ladner, and Fry won the event with a time of 3:10.78 which is now the meet record.
The Owls are back for Senior Day on Saturday, Jan. 25 where they'll compete against Saint Michael's and celebrate seniors Kobe Dominguez, Franklin Kuhn, Drew Ladner, McAllistar Milne, Dylan Prescher, JT Tressel, and Henry Velazquez.
