MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut women's swimming and diving student-athletes Molly Kennedy and Sierra DuCharme have been tabbed with Northeast-10 weekly awards as announced by the conference on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Kennedy has been named the Swimmer of the Week for the third consecutive week and fourth time this season. DuCharme was named Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

Kennedy swam the 100 Free in 53.14 against St. Michael's, topping her best time that had led the NE10. She also swam the 500m in 5:23.05, the sixth-best time in the league this winter.

DuCharme swam the 1650 Free with a time of 18:48.37 to win it. This time ranks second in the NE10 and is within the top 175 times in NCAA Division II.

The Owls return on Thursday, Feb. 13 for the start of the Northeast-10 Championships in Worcester, Mass. where they'll look to capture their fifth consecutive NE10 Championship.
