SCSU Men's Soccer Plays To 0-0 Tie at Franklin Pierce

Box Score RINDGE, N.H.-- Southern Connecticut men's soccer played to a 0-0 tie in a Northeast 10 conference matchup against Franklin Pierce University on Saturday. With the draw, The Owls move to 5-2-3 overall and 3-0-2 in the NE10, while Franklin Pierce moves to 5-2-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the NE10. 

It was a defensive battle between the Owls and the Ravens with both sides only taking three shots on goal each. The Owls shots came from Jake Novoshelski, Sam Sandler and Amos Bignotti

Owls goalkeeper Diego Flores continued to build on a strong season. Coming off of his first NE10 goalkeeper of the week award, the freshman had three saves on his way to pitching his sixth straight shutout, not allowing a goal since Sept. 19. 

Southern Connecticut is back in action on Tuesday Oct. 14 when they travel to Rockville Centre, N.Y to take on Molloy University in a non-conference game at 4 pm. The Owls then return to Jess Dow Field on Saturday Oct. 18 to host Saint Michael's College in a NE10 conference match up at 4 PM.
