Southern Connecticut football standout running back Kieran Falzon was named the Northeast 10 Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the final week of the 2025 season. It is the third time Falzon has won the award this season.
In a stunning, come-from-behind 52-45 overtime win against Post, Falzon score four times and put an exclamation point on his incredible season with 213 yards on 23 carries for a gawdy 9.3 yards per carry, with three touchdowns, including a 74-yard jaunt and the game-winner in overtime. He scored on runs of 16, 74 and 25 yards, on the Owls' first play in overtime. He also scored on a 10-yard pass that tied the game at 45-45 and forced overtime. For Falzon, he finished the year as the NE10's leading scoring while piling up 1,227 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns – both of which also lead the NE10 - while also adding 18 catches for 84 yards. He led the NE10 with 1,366 all-purpose yards.
Falzon's 213 yards marked the most in a game this season and the fourth most in a NE10 game in the past five seasons.
