SCSU Men's Swimming and Diving Bests Pace University 157-130

Pleasantville, N.Y.-- Southern Connecticut Men's Swimming and Diving bested Pace University 157-130 in a Northeast 10 conference match up on Friday Dec. 5.

200 Yard Medley Relay:
A Southern Connecticut relay team of Mason Durant, Nick Fournier, Daniel Lazar and Jack Fry placed second with a time of 1:39.94. Following them in third, was another Southern Connecticut team of Vincent Roney, Jack Simmons, Zach Krantz and Korbin Conliffe.

1000 Yard Freestyle:
Samir Souidi won the even with a time of 10:18.79, following him in second was Kris Janney at 10:20.56.

200 Yard Freestyle:
Dylan Prescher won the event crossing the line in 1:47.22. Following him in second was Ben Frazer with a time of 1:47.93.

100 Yard Backstroke:
Durant placed second with a time of 57.45, following him in third was Roney at 57.80.

100 Yard Breaststroke:
Fournier placed second with a time of 1:03.72. Simmons placed fourth at 1:04.59.

200 Yard Butterfly:
Lucas Quiroga finished in second place with a time of 2:01.44, following him in third was Richie Hall at 2:06.52.

50 Yard Freestyle:
Fry won the even with a time of 21.91, following him in second was Lazar at 22.41.

1 Meter Diving:
Elliot Speckhard won the event with a score of 246.68, following him in second was Cole Mullarkey at 223.13.

100 Yard Freestyle:
Frazer placed second with a time of 48.77, following him was Prescher in third at 49.74.

200 Yard Backstroke:
Janney placed second with a time of 2:03.49. Hall placed fourth finishing in 2:12.77

200 Yard Breaststroke:
Sam Whitaker placed secon with a time of 2:19.85, following him in third was Krantz at 2:24.24.

500 Yard Freestyle:
Quiroga won the event with a time of 5:02.16. Following him in second was Aiden Kennedy at 5:03.93.

100 Yard Butterfly:
Durant won the event with a time of 54.64. Fry finished third at 55.15.

3 Meter Diving:
Speckhard won the event with a score of 229.80, following him in second was Mullarkey at 203.78.

200 IM:
Hall placed second crossing the line in 2:05.40, following him in third was Souidi at 2:06.16.

Southern Connecticut returns to the home waters of the Hutchinson Natatorium to take on the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Jan. 9 in a non-conference match up at 6 PM.
