WORCESTER, Mass. – Southern Connecticut men's swimming & diving won the 2025 Northeast-10 Conference Championship for the fourth-straight year and 17
th title of all-time dating back to 2003. Southern finished with 912 points, Adelphi finished closely behind with 878 points, Bentley (692), Saint Michael's (422), College of Staten Island (413), Pace (279) and Assumption (214).
The Owls captured a total of 34 medals, which included seven individual championships. With the women's team also winning the 2025 championship, this marked the 14
th year since 2003 in which Southern Connecticut has swept the NE10 Championships.
The final day of the NE10 Championships saw two championships, by
McAllistar Milne in the 200 Yard Butterfly and
Franklin Kuhn in the 100 Yard Freestyle for the third straight year. In addition,
JT Tressel and
Elliott Speckhard finished on the podium, getting the silver and bronze medal in the 3-Meter Diving event. The Owls finished with medals in the 1,650 Freestyle, 200 Yard Backstroke, 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, 200 Yard Breaststroke and 200 Yard Backstroke.
200 Yard Backstroke
Adam Fred finished on the podium in a time of 1:53.36, to get the bronze medal in the 200 Yard Backstroke.
Vincent Roney came in eighth with a time of 2:01.85.
100 Yard Freestyle
Franklin Kuhn won the 100 Yard Freestyle event in a time of 45.35 – he won this event in 2023 and 2024.
Drew Ladner finished in fourth with a time of 46.02,
Jack Fry came in fifth with a time of 46.74 and
Ben Frazer finished in seventh with a time of 47.30.
200 Yard Breaststroke
Kobe Dominguez finished with a time of 2:05.31 to get a silver medal in the 200 Yard Breaststroke – he got the silver medal in this event in 2024.
Kris Janney came in fourth place with a time of 2:08.90 and
Zachary Krantz came in 10
th place in a time of 2:14.76.
200 Yard Butterfly
McAllistar Milne came up with a huge win in the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:51.27.
Henry Velazquez came in fifth with a time of 1:55.74,
Lucas Quiroga finished in sixth with a time of 1:56.63,
Jacob Tanner came in seventh in a time of 1:56.95 and
Zachary Krantz came in 11
th place with a time of 2:01.32.
1650 Yard Freestyle
Samir Souidi came in third place with a time of 16:30.90 to get the bronze medal in the 1,650 Yard Freestyle – he got the bronze medal in this event in 2023 and 2024.
Richie Hall finished in fourth place in a time of 16:36.71,
Aiden Kennedy came in sixth place with a time of 17:02.38,
Vincent Roney came in seventh with a time of 17:28.53.
400 Yard Freestyle Relay
The "A" relay team of
Drew Ladner,
Ben Frazer,
McAllistar Milne and
Franklin Kuhn finished in second place with a time of 3:03.94, to secure the silver medal in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
3 Meter Diving
JT Tressel finished in second place with a final score of 382.85 - he got the silver medal in this event in 2024.
Elliott Speckhard finished in third place with a final score of 376.00, to get the bronze medal in the 3-Meter Diving.
