SCSU Owls See 20 Student-Athletes Receive Northeast 10 Presidents' Award

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut State University Athletics saw 20 graduating student-athletes receive the Northeast 10 Conference's Presidents' Award, as announced by the conference on June 26th. 

To be eligible for the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence, a senior student-athlete must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be a graduating NE10 student-athlete.
  • Must attain the Latin honor of Magna Cum Laude or better.
  • Must have participated in at least two seasons of NE10 competition and is a current student-athlete at the time of graduation.
Each award recipient has received a commemorative NE10 medallion for their academic achievements.

Men's soccer led the way with five recipients, followed by men's cross country/track & Field and women's swimming and diving with three apiece. The full list of recipients can be seen below.
