Castaldi, Mansfield Compete at TCNJ Last Chance Meet

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Southern Connecticut women's indoor track & field standouts Amanda Castaldi and Patrice Mansfield competed at The College of New Jersey's Last Chance Meet, hosted at the Ott Center in Philadelphia.

Both athletes competed in the 60m hurdles, and both qualified for the finals. Mansfield finished in third with a time of 8.72, and Castaldi followed in sixth at 9.03. Mansfield and Castaldi rank 23rd and 27th, respectively, in all of Division II in the event.

The Owls will wait until Tuesday, March 3rd to see which athletes will be selected to compete in the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Virginia Beach.
