BOSTON, Mass. – Southern Connecticut women's Indoor Track and Field team won their third straight Northeast 10 Conference Championship at the TRACK at New Balance. It is their sixth conference championship overall. The team scored 247 points, over 145.5 ahead of second place. The Owls secured a total of 23 medals, with individual and relay medals secured throughout both days of competition. It was the largest margin of victory recorded in conference history for both the SCSU Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field teams.
Uliana Pokutnia earned the Elite 24 Award; the award is given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA at the NE10 Championship.
Belle Smith and
Deja Fitzpatrick-Bell were named Women's Most Outstanding Field Performers of the NE10 Championship.
Courtney Henchcliffe was named the Women's Most Outstanding Track Performer and the Most Valuable Athlete Award on the Women's side.
It is the third straight season that both the men and women have won both the men's and women's indoor NE10 Championships. In addition, it is the second time in NE10 history that a school has won both the men's and women's indoor championships, and the men's and women's cross-country championships in the same year.

60 Meter Hurdles
Patrice Mansfield won the Gold Medal in a time of 8.61 and
Amanda Castaldi secured the Silver Medal in a time of 8.62, both were some of the best times in DII, this season.
1 Mile Run
Abigail Bajorek secured the Silver Medal in a time of 5:09.29,
Erin Sola secured the bronze medal in a time of 5:12.62.
Rae Geddes came in fourth place in a time of 5:13.51.
400 Meter Dash
Avery Winters captured the Gold Medal in a time of 57.33.
Djamilla Toukour came in fifth in a time of 58.40.
800 Meter Run
Maya Fisher secured the Silver Medal in a time of 2:19.73, in the 800 meters.
3000 Meter Run
Courtney Henchcliffe secured the Gold Medal in a time of 10:03.11 and McKenzie David secured the Silver Medal in a time of 10:33.11.
PJ Dauphinais came in fourth place in a time of 10:39.46,
Anna Wayne came in 15
th place in a time of 11:36.53 and
Sarah Johnson came in 23
rd place in a time of 13:04.28.
200 Meter Dash
Amanda Castaldi captured the Silver Medal in a time of 25.15.
Patrice Mansfield came in fifth place in a time of 25.42.
4x800 Relay
The relay team of

Abigail Bajorek captured the Gold Medal in a time of 9:42.78.
4x400 Relay
The relay team of

Paige Wilks finished in fourth place in a time of 7.87.

It was an Owls' sweep on the podium as
Darla Jagrosse captured the Gold Medal with a mark of 12.90 meters (42' 4"),
Kayla Johnson secured the Silver Medal with a mark of 12.69 meters (41' 7 ¾") and
Belle Smith captured the Bronze Medal with a mark of 12.58 meters (41' 3 ¼").
Triple Jump
Uliana Pokutnia secured the Gold Medal with a mark of 11.27 meters (36' 11 ¾") and
Deja Fitzpatrick-Bell captured the Bronze Medal with a mark of 11.19 meters (36' 8 ½").
