Mulcunry, Osagie Lead SCSU Men's Track & Field at UConn Northeast Challenge, Mark Young Invitational

Southern Connecticut men's track & field wrapped up the weekend, competing at Day 2 of the UConn Northeast Challenge and Yale's Mark Young Invitational. 

Jack Mulcunry continued his phenomenal outdoor season with a PR in the 800m, running the fifth-fastest time in program history. His time is the fastest in the Northeast 10 this season and ranks 26th in NCAA Division II, meeting the provisional standard. Osaretin Osagie PR'd in the 400m Hurdles, winning the event and running the #6 time in program history. His time ranks first in the NE10 and 14th in DII, also meeting the provisional standard. 

The Owls 4x400m Relay team ran the 13th fastest time in Division II this season, meeting the NCAA provisional standard for the event and running the seventh-fastest time in program history. Sean Horrigan recorded the best mark in the Pole Vault in the NE10 this season at the Mark Young Invitational.
