SCSU Men's Track & Field Wins Wilton Wright Invitational, Set 23 Personal Bests

Southern Connecticut Men's Track & Field competed at Providence's Friar Invitational and won the Wilton Wright Invitational, hosted by SCSU. The Owls combined to record 23 personal-bests.

Southern dominated at the Wilton Wright Invitational, winning the meet with 279.5 points. Osaretin Osagie (110m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles) and Max Musial (200m, 400m) each picked up multiple event wins. Jalil Pena (100m), Oliver Guzy (Long Jump), Trevor Dixon (Javelin), Jayden Brown (Discus), and Chris Amy (Shot Put) also won their individual events. The Owls 4x100 and 4x400 relays teams also picked up wins.

At the Friar Invitational, Jack Mulcunry ran a personal-best time in the 800m, winning the event. His time of 1:51.14 is the eighth-fastest in program history.
