SCSU Track & Field Wraps Up Regular Season at CCSU Blue Devil Invitational

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut men's and women's outdoor track & field finished off the 2026 regular season, competing at Central Connecticut's Blue Devil Invitational.

For the women's team, Kayla Johnson continued her breakout season with a first-place finish in the Shot Put, recording another personal-best mark. Darla Jagrosse also PR'd, finishing in second. Johnson and Jagrosse hold the top two marks in the Northeast 10 Conference this season. Celine Bozukluian won the Hammer Throw, and Lily Quill recorded the fifth-best clearance in the pole vault this season. Anna Wayne (1500m) and Bella Sorrentino (100m Hurdles) both recorded personal best times.

On the men's side, the field athletes excelled, with Trevor Dixon (Javelin), Aidan Chittenden (Hammer Throw), and Richard Nartey (Long Jump) each taking home wins and recording personal best marks. Peyton Adams had a season-best performance in the Pole Vault and Jonathan Volpe won the 1500m. Colton Sallum, John Glidden, Nate Huebner, and Dominic Tartarelli PR'd in the same event.
