Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer battled Franklin Pierce University to a 2-2 draw on Friday evening. With the result, the Owls move to 0-2-3 on the season, while the Ravens move to 3-1-1.

SCSU opened the scoring in the first half when Jeremy Martin found the back of the net to give the Owls a 1-0 advantage. Franklin Pierce scored off a defensive error before halftime to bring the score to 1-1.
The Owls regained the lead in the second half when Gísli Ágústsson scored his second goal of the season. Franklin Pierce responded later in the half to bring the score level at 2-2.

SCSU finished with a 16-13 advantage in shots and held a 6-5 advantage in saves, with Diego Flores making six saves across 90 minutes in goal. Martin and Ágústsson each recorded a goal for the Owls, while Martin added one shot on goal. Jimmy Choi led SCSU with four shots, including one on goal, while Alessandro Bacabac and Kasper Murzinski each added two shots.
The Owls return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 4PM when they travel to Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.
