NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Southern Connecticut State University Field Hockey fell to Assumption University, 4-0, Friday afternoon at Jess Dow Field. The Owls record stands at 3-5 and the Greyhounds advance to 3-3.
The Greyhounds controlled the offensive pressure throughout the contest, finishing with 25 shots, including 20 on goal.
SCSU recorded one shot on the afternoon, with Keana Criscuolo putting her attempt on goal.

Assumption opened the scoring with Julia Carbone finding the back of the cage as well as adding an assist. Taylor Tory and Daisy Stone also scored for the Greyhounds, bringing the final total goals to four.

SCSU goalkeeper Rachel Miller made 11 saves over 45 minutes of action, while Lyndsay Troisi played the final 15 minutes and made five saves.

The Owls will look to bounce back when they return on Wednesday, Sept. 30, hosting Dominican University of New York at 4 PM at Jess Dow Field.
