SCSU Women's Soccer Played to a 0-0 Draw at Georgian Court

Lakewood, N.J.-- Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer drew 0-0 against Georgian Court on Tuesday Sept. 8 in a non-conformance match up in Lakewood, N.J. With the draw, the Owls move to 2-0-2, while the Lions move to 0-3-1. 

Makenzi Pastreck kept the Owls in the game recording three saves on route to another shutout. In her four games started this season, Pastreck is yet to allow a goal. 

Offensively, the Owls had chances as they put six shots on goal and had six corner kicks, but were unable to convert. Elizabeth Bishop led the way for the Owls with two shots on goal, while Frida Norret, Julia Salley, Ryleigh Phillips and Olivia Morrissette each had one. 

Southern Connecticut returns home on Sat. Sept 12 for their senior day match against St. Thomas Aquinas College at 3:00pm.
