As a Freshman in 2008:
Played in 47 games for the Owls, including 45 starts…Tied for second on the team in sacrifice flies (3)…Hit .306 with a home run, 26 RBI, 27 runs scored, 11 walks, three stolen bases on three tries and was hit by a pitch four times…Slugged .376 and recorded a .356 on-base percentage…In his first game with the Owls, went 1-for-4 with a RBI, a run scored and a stolen base against C.W. Post on 3/1…Went 2-for-5 with his first career double and a RBI at Barry on 3/18…Was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a walk and a run scored
versus Southern New Hampshire on 4/8…Set a career-high with three RBI on 2-for-3 hitting with a double, a walk and a run scored in the front end of a doubleheader against Assumption on 4/13…Went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in the second game of the doubleheader versus Assumption…Recorded his first career home run a day later at Franklin Pierce on 4/14…Collected four hits in four at-bats with a double and three runs scored at Saint
Rose on 4/19…Had a two RBI performance versus Pace on 5/10.

Two-time All-League selection at Ashland (Mass.) High School...Earned All-Star laurels from the Metrowest Daily News as a junior and senior...Named the League Pitcher of the Year as a junior...Team captain as a senior...Also played football and basketball...An All-League honoree in football.
