As a Freshman in 2011-12:
Appeared in 11 games for the Owls on the season... Finished the season with 11 points, five rebounds and four assists...Played two minutes in his debut against Post...Tallied seven points, five rebounds and two assists against Bridgeport...Recorded two assists against Franklin Pierce...Netted two points against Stonehill...Registered two points in the NE-10 quarterfinals against UMass-Lowell.
Coach's Comments: “Ryan has been very impressive in our pre-season workouts. He comes from a winning high school athletic program where he enjoyed much success on the basketball court and football field. Ryan is a well conditioned and mentally tough athlete who shoots the basketball very well from the perimeter”.

All-State, All-Area and three-time All-Conference performer at Maloney (Conn.) High School..Three-year captain...Won a state championship with the Spartans as a freshman and helped the team to a league title and undefeated regular season as a senior....Also a two-time New Haven Register All-Area honoree...Named Academic All-State.
