Attended Mercer County CC…Named to All-Region Team as a sophomore…Team made national tournament appearances in his freshman and sophomore seasons…Team captain as a sophomore…Prior to Mercer, two-time All-Section selection as a team captain in his junior and senior seasons at Mount Vernon (N.Y.) High School.

Son of Nelcia and Thomas Garcia…Has three brothers: Melton, Shelton and Shawn…Born in Trinidad and Tobago…A social work major.
