As a Freshman in 2017-18:
Placed fourth in the shot put (13.67m) and 13th in the weight throw (9.97m) at the Elm City Challenge on 12/1-2….Finished ninth in the shot put (13.35m) and 12th in the weight throw (11.58m) at the Yale Season Opener on 12/9…Claimed 18th place in both the weight throw (11.64m) and shot put (13.22m) at the URI Sorlien Invitational on 1/20…Claimed ninth in the weight throw (14.33m) at the Mets Indoor Championships on 2/1-2…Took seventh in the weight throw (15.14m) and 15th in the shot put (12.74m) at the NE10 Championships om 2/17-18…Finished in seventh in the shot put (12.90m) and 10th in the weight throw (14.92m) at the Brother Jasper Invitational on 2/23…Claimed 13th in the hammer throw (44.10m) and 18th it the shot put (13.19m) at the UConn Northeast  Challenge on 4/14…Took 10th in the shot put (13.60m) at the George Davis Invitational on 4/21…Came in sixth in the shot put (13.66m) and sixth in the hammer throw (46.67m) at the NE10 Outdoor Championships on 5/4-5.

Before Southern Connecticut State University:
All-League selection at Naugatuck (Conn.) High...Team MVP...Earned the Outstanding Senior Award...Team captain as a senior.

Son of Rachelle and Mark Lounsbury...Plans to major in exercise science.
