Biography
As a Freshman in 2010-11 season:
Finished 15th in the weight throw at the Lidifter Invitational with a toss of 8.12 meters…Came in 14th place in the weight throw at the Northeast 10 Track and Field Indoor Championships with a toss of 8.32 meters…Claimed eighth place in the weight throw at the Sam Howell Invitational with a toss of 32.11 meters…Finished 13th in the hammer throw at the Northeast-10 Outdoor Championships with a distance of 31.12 meters…Also placed ninth in the javelin throw (31.00 meters).
Before Southern Connecticut State University:
Was a part of the East Haven track and field team... Set the javelin school record… Team captain as a senior…Also participated in volleyball and basketball where she was All-Area and All-Division as a junior and senior in volleyball.
Personal:
Daughter of Mary and James Barone…Born in New Haven, Conn… Plans to major in nursing.
