NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Junior #Cody Hall# (Parker, Colo.) of the women’s swimming and diving team and sophomore #Aaron Rocheleau# (Newington, Conn.) of the men’s swimming and diving team have been named as the Comcast/Southern Connecticut State University Athletes of the Month for December. Both were integral in leading their teams to a sixth consecutive Northeast-10 Conference Championship during the month.

Hall, who earned All-America honors during her freshman and sophomore seasons, played a pivotal role in her team’s run to the conference title.

She captured the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2:08.45 and set a new Northeast-10 Conference record in the process. In addition, Hall contributed to three first place relay team victories for the Owls throughout the championships.

Hall also finished in third place in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:05.15, a mark that was good for an NCAA A-Cut time.

Rocheleau, an All-American and the 2008 Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Year, was selected as the Most Outstanding Swimmer of this year’s Championships.

He won the 500 freestyle (4:40.93) and the 200 IM (1:57.56) and was part of winning relay teams in the 200 medley (1:34.75), 800 Free (7:06.44) and the 400 medley (3:24.53).
