NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The women's soccer team has earned a place in the seventh slot on the National Collegiate Athletic Association's East Regional Poll. The final regular-season poll will be published on Oct. 28 and championship selections will take place on Nov. 10.
Conference foes, Merrimack, Franklin Pierce, Saint Rose and Southern New Hampshire are all ranked ahead of SCSU, heading into the last two weeks of competition.
The Owls will look to make a late season charge when they host AIC on Oct. 21 and then later in the week travel to Manchester, N.H. for another conference match against St. Anselm's College. The times of the games are set for 7 p.m. and 12 p.m.
