WORCESTER, M.A. – Megan Hiss (Trinidad, Colo.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's volleyball team recorded a game-high 19 kills en route to another five set victory against Assumption tonight.

Sarah Beres (Ellington, Conn.) recorded 16 kills and six digs, while Lauren McVey (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) contributed 14 kills with six digs. Vanessa Sullivan (Paramus, N.J.) tallied a game-high 17 digs and Kimberly Lachowicz (Mansfield, Texas) assisted a game-high 48 points.

With the win, the Owls improve to 6-3 overall with a 1-1 conference record.

Southern will be back in action at home against Bentley Thursday
