WALTHAM, Mass. - Three first half goals in a span of a little over four minutes led the SCSU women's soccer team over Bentley, 3-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference game in Waltham, Mass.

Suzane Pires (Sao Paulo, Brazil) scored the next two goals for the Owls in a span of less than two minutes. Pires made it 2-0 in the 34th minute with her fourth goal of the season after a Bentley turnover in the box led to the goal. Pires then scored in the 37th minute to make it 3-0 with her fifth goal of the season after a steal just outside of the box for the score.
The Owls then coasted in the second half to a dominant road win.
Bentley (5-7-3, 3-7-3 NE-10) out-shot the Owls in the game, 11-10, and 8-7 in the first half. However, turnovers would hurt them early in the game.

Elizabeth Nickerson (Seaford, Va.) recorded a shutout with four saves in 90 minutes of play.
