Owls Shutout On the Road By Assumption, 3-0

WORCESTER, Mass. - A hat trick shut out hands the Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team their ninth loss of the season. 

The Owls are now 6-9-2, 5-7-2 in the Northeast 10 Conference. Assumption is now 7-3-5, 5-3-5 in the NE-10 Conference. 

Assumption struck first in the 22nd minute with a goal from Paige Radomski. 

Assumption added to their lead when Andrea Bates put one into the top right hand corner. Both teams were getting aggressive as they both had over ten fouls. Frustration struck the Owls when a yellowcard was given to Bryana Poulin (Webster, Mass.) in the 63rd minute. The Greyhounds sealed the deal when Andrea Bates scored her second goal with two and half minutes remaining in the contest. 

The Owls will be back in action at home for their Senior Day game against Philadelphia on Nov. 2 at 1 p.m.
