Season Stats
The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team is set to play two Northeast-10 Conference games this week beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 12 against Le Moyne College at 5 p.m., followed by a road game against Merrimack College on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m.
ALL-TIME VS. LE MOYNE
The Owls are 10-3-3 all-time versus Le Moyne. Both teams met last season where SCSU escaped with a double overtime win behind junior
Hannah Bodner's (Bolton, Conn.) goal in the 107th minute.

SCSU is 7-10-1 all-time versus Merrimack. Last season, junior

HOLDING THEIR GROUND
The Owls went toe-to-toe with nationally ranked No. 12 Adelphi University last week where both team ended in a
1-1 tie. The Owls' defense held the NE-10 scoring leaders to one goal. In their next game, SCSU defeated conference leader American International College,
1-0.

MOVING ON UP
Following their performances last week, the Owls moved up to fourth place in the NE-10 Conference with a total of 13 points. The Owls are 4-3-1 in conference play.
THE CAPTAIN
Junior forward
Hannah Bodner has been named team captain for the 2016 season. Bodner appeared in 15 games for the Owls last season.
LOOKING BACK AT LAST YEAR
SCSU finished the 2015 season with a 6-10-1 record and qualified for the NE-10 Conference Tournament.
WELCOME TO THE CLUB
The Owls welcome 13 newcomers to the squad for the 2016 season - graduate student Brianne Casey, senior Gabrielle Arruda and freshmen Amy Boswell, Johanna Wahlen, Karoline Petersen, Olivia Holubecki, Marisa Grisell,
Juliana Templeman, Kristin Gay, Kelly Lamb, Clara Timony, Madison Nastri and Giavanna Colaccino.
