PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. - Rising senior Rotem Porat (Plantation, Fla.) recently volunteered at the Celebrate Israel Florida Festival in her native state. Porat assisted with the efforts of the Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El as part of the event.

This event is just one example of many community outreach events that SCSU student-athletes take part in on an annual basis. SCSU student-athletes volunteered approximately 2,000 hours of their time to numerous outreach efforts, both on-campus and in Greater New Haven, during the 2015-16 academic year.
