NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team dropped its first conference game on the year to Assumption College this afternoon, 3-2.

RECORDS: SCSU (0-3-1,0-1); Assumption (2-1,1-0)

FIRST PERIOD
Assumption's Kallie Villrmaire scored the first goal of the game at the 5:54 mark off an assist from Amanda Arnold to give Assumption an early lead. Junior Victoria Buonanni (Durham, Conn.) would score the equalizer for the Owls on a penalty kick in the 41^st minute. Both teams headed into the half tied, 1-1.

SECOND PERIOD
Arnold gave Assumption a 2-1 lead off a break away shot in the 51^st minute. Senior Christine Allard (South Windsor, Conn.) would tie the game up at 2-2 with a header in the 87^th minute off an assist from junior Victoria Conde (Madrid, Spain). Both teams ended the second half tied, 2-2

OVERTIME
Arnold scored her second goal of the game in the 93^rd minute to give Assumption a 3-2 victory.
