NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team lost to Bentley today, 2-1 in double overtime.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Victoria Buonanni (Durham, Conn.) and the Owls struck first at 73:42 of the game as Buonanni shot one passed the goalie to the left inside post for a goal.

Bentley evened the score less than ten minutes later at 83:05 off a shot from inside the box. 

After regulation and a scoreless overtime, the Falcons and the Owls squared off in a second overtime period. At 102:56 Bentley scored on a shot from the five yard line to clinch the 2OT victory.

Senior Gabrielle Arruda (West Suffield, Conn.) made six saves in the OT loss.
