PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Senior Kathleen Aberger (Plano, Texas) registered two top-six finishes to lead the way for the Southern Connecticut State University gymnastics team in its quad-meet against Illinois, Rutgers and Yale on Saturday.

KEY PERFORMANCES: 
- Aberger placed third overall on the floor exercise with a score of 9.75. She was also Southern's top finisher on the beam, as she scored 9.8 and tied for sixth place.
- Alexandra Lesperance (Valrico, Fla.) was the top Owl on the vault. She finished ninth with a 9.625.
- Aberger was also Southern's top finished on the bars, as she was 14th with a 9.5. Gracie Hundley (Argyle, Texas) took 15th with a 9.425.
- Morgan Gatewood (Dry Ridge, Ky.) placed 11th on the beam with a score of 9.725.
- Cadi Borsellino (Channahon, Ill.) also finished 12th on the floor exercise for the Owls.
