HOW IT HAPPENED

• Both teams collected their chances in the first half as SCSU outshot Bentley 4-3, but the score remained deadlocked at halftime.
• Bentley cashed in on a chance in the 66^th minute off a free kick to take a 1-0 lead.
• Freshman Abigail Allen (Orange, Conn.) collected two saves in the Owls loss.
