The Southern Connecticut women's soccer team will host Bentley on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 3 p.m. at Jess Dow Field. The Owls are coming off a 2-1 win in their home opener against Adelphi on Wednesday and stand at 3-1-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the NE10. Bentley defeated New Haven, 3-1, on Wednesday night and are currently 2-1-1 overall and 1-0-0 in conference play.

THEIR LAST TIME OUT
• Senior captain Mikaela Magee broke a 1-1 tie with the game-winner in the 86th minute to lift the Owls to a 2-1 win against Northeast 10 opponent Adelphi on Wednesday night.
• Greta Brunello also scored for Southern, while Johanna Wahlen and Meaghan Kelley both picked up assists.
• Allie Smith was dominant in goal for the Owls as she recorded eight saves on nine shots-on-goal. 
• For the year, Smith carries an .821 save percentage (23-28) and a 1.25 goals-against-average through the first four games of the season.

ALL-TIME AGAINST BENTLEY
• Saturday's matchup will be the 23rd meeting between Southern and Bentley, with the Owls owning a 12-8-2 edge in the all-time series.
• Southern owned a five-game winning streak against the Falcons from 2010 through 2014. Since 2014, Bentley has won three of the last four meetings.
