The Owls stand at 5-5-3 overall, and are 3-2-3 in the NE10. The American International College Yellow Jackets enter at 5-4-3 and are 3-4-2 in conference play.

LAST GAME
The Owls overcame a 2-0 deficit that happened in the first 5 minutes of play against Southern New Hampshire University to tie the game, 2-2, on Wednesday, Oct. 12. Britt Verstegen (Ede, Netherlands) notched a goal after a free kick by Alexie Rosado (North Branford, Conn.) let the ball loose in the Penmen's penalty area. Verstegen tapped the ball high over the defenders to close the gap in score, 2-1. Julia Alicea (Columbia, Conn.) then secured the game-tying goal less than six minutes later off a give-and-go with Kelsey Burr (Wallingford, Conn.), and a one-timed left-footed shot chipped into the far post of the goal. 

UP NEXT
After a week long pause in games, the women's soccer team will face Bentley at Jess Dow at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 for Senior Day. The lone senior being honored is Julia Alicea. Following this match will be the Owls' final game of the regular season at Saint Anselm on Oct. 26 at 3 p.m.
