UNDEFEATED IN CONFERENCE PLAY
The Owls are 2-0-2 within the NE10 Conference after the first 4 games. Goalkeeper Abby Allen has 24 saves in conference play, only allowing 1 goal for a draw in the latest match against Adelphi on Sept. 21. Allen has a save percentage of 0.960 and a goals against average of 0.25. She was the latest Goalkeeper of the Week selection by the NE10 on Sept. 19. The women's soccer team started conference play strong with a 1-0 win against Saint Michael's on Sept. 10, and another 1-0 win against Pace on Sept. 13. The Owls then blanked No.2 Saint Rose for a 0-0 draw on Sept. 17, who has since dropped down to No.11 in the country. A 1-1 draw against Adelphi on Sept. 21 preserved the undefeated status for the Owls.
LEADERBOARD
Kelsey Burr and Taylor Hennig lead the board with 6 points apiece. Burr's latest conversion of an assist in the last match against Adelphi on Sept. 21 gave her the point to equalize with Hennig. Kaitlyn D'Amico scored her second goal of the year against Adelphi to match the goal leaders on the squad, Kylee Slavik and Kelsey Burr. Hennig continues to lead the team with 4 assists on the season.
UP NEXT
The Owls return home to face cross-city rival University of New Haven on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Following this match, the team will travel to Worcester, M.A. to play against Assumption on Saturday, Oct. 1.
