SCSU Women's Basketball Announces 2023-24 Schedule
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut women's basketball head coach Kate Lynch has announced the Owls 2023-24 schedule, which begins on November 11, when Southern plays Georgian Court University at the James Moore Field House. On November 12, the Owls will be at home once again when they face Mercy University. 

All home games and games played in the Northeast 10 Conference can be viewed live on The Owls Network, available at SCSUOwls.com/TheOwlsNetwork. Live statistics will also be available for all Owls games.

Before the Owls kick off their season, they will face the University of Connecticut in a exhibition on Nov. 4 in Storrs, Conn. On Nov. 15, Northeast-10 action will start with an away matchup at Assumption University. Southern will have their NE10 home opener against Adelphi University on Nov. 21. The Owls will then travel to play the University of the District of Columbia on Nov. 26. Closing out the first month of games, Southern will travel to American International College for an NE10 game on Nov. 29. 

The Owls will be at home for two out of their five games in the month of December. They will play conference opponent, The College of Saint Rose on December 2nd, then Southern will make the trip to NE10 opponent, Pace University on Dec. 5. On Dec. 9, the Owls will play a non-conference game against the University of Bridgeport at home. Southern will have a two-game road trip to end the year, with a game at Molloy University on Dec. 19 and then they will travel to Dominican University of New York for a game on December 30. 

Opening the New Year, the Owls will have a two-game home stand when they host NE10 opponents, Saint Anselm College on January 3 and Saint Michael's College on Jan. 6. Southern will make the short trip to Elm City and NE10 rival, the University of New Haven, for a matchup on Jan. 10. After that, the Owls will travel to NE10 foe, Southern New Hampshire University on Jan. 13. The Owls returns home for two NE10 games, against Bentley University on Jan. 16 and against Franklin Pierce on Jan. 20. On Jan. 24, Southern will play at Adelphi University in their second conference matchup of the season. 

The Owls will face Assumption University on Jan. 27 and against American International College on Jan. 30, both games will be at the James Moore Field House. Southern will make the short trip to The College of Saint Rose on February 3, after that, the Owls will host Pace University on Feb. 7. On Feb. 10, Southern travels to play at Saint Anselm College. Then, the Owls will host the University of New Haven on Feb. 13. 

Southern will make the trip to play Saint Michael's College on Feb. 17. On Feb. 21, the Owls will play their last home game of the regular season against Southern New Hampshire University. Southern will have a two-game road trip to end the regular season, with a matchup at Franklin Pierce on Feb. 24 and at Bentley University on Feb. 27.
